Online Pharmacy – A Fresh Look
♫ Saturday, November 29th, 2008Perennially I had a hardened misconception about shopping online but not so much as it used to be, particularly after I purchased my diabetes supplies as refills from an online pharmacy. I am not saying that a single transaction has transformed my mind into believing all e-commerce stores or at least the online pharmacy shops by quashing my years of rigidly opinionated perceptions about safety of transacting with them online. It’s not even because the prices are competitive. You see, I am a diabetic for ages and I need to keep my supplies handy at all times if I really want to nurse the ripe disease carefully no matter at what cost.
My inflexible attitude towards online pharmacies had stemmed out of multiple notions I had developed over the years about e-commerce retailers, which is not only out of stories I heard about scrupulous online stores, be it online pharmacy stores or jewelry stores or whatever for that matter but also because of their conspicuous transnational presence which takes away buyers’ legal rights in one sway, well almost. You know what I mean by this. You are essentially a defenseless buyer once you click a “Pay Now” button without having enough resources or information to counter one fake online seller.
